On 1 July, RWI initiated their mission to Ukraine with the visit of Lviv. Executive Director Peter Lundberg and Regional Europe Director Zuzana Zalanova discussed cooperation in localisating efforts on the EU accession process and recovery with Andriy Moskalenko, Vice-mayor of the City of Lviv, Olena Pavlyuk, Director of Lviv Bureau of European Integration,members of Lviv Bureau of European Integration, as well as Dmytro Sherengovsky, Vice-Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), and Nataliya Haletska, Senior Lecturer at UCU’s Law School. The visit also included a National Rehabilitation Center “UNBROKEN“ with a holistic treatment to war veterans and a funeral ceremony for the soldiers fallen in the war.
