The Raoul Wallenberg Institute is proud to share our 2025 Annual Report, a 40-page overview of RWI's activities, results, and impact spanning 2025.

The 2025 Annual Report highlights our work across more than 40 countries to strengthen and advance human rights and international humanitarian law. It features key achievements in areas such as the rule of law and access to justice, human rights and the environment, business and human rights, non-discrimination and inclusion, and international humanitarian law. The report also details strategic reforms, financial developments, and global partnerships that position RWI for sustained impact in 2026 and beyond.

RWI's Executive Director Peter Lundberg wrote in the preface to the report, "Over four decades, the Institute has built a reputation as a trusted partner for governments, international organisations, and civil society. That trust is grounded in consistency, methodological rigour, and an ability to work across institutional, sectoral and political boundaries. In recent years, this role has become more visible, particularly in areas where impartial analysis and convening capacity are in demand." We hope that this Annual Report conveys the hard work of our staff, experts, interns, and partner institutions around the world.

We are grateful to our many partners in academia, government, civil society, and the private sector who support, enable, and enhance our work — we hope you enjoy reading this edition of the RWI Annual Report as both a celebration of our four decades of history and as an invitation to continue with us in building just and inclusive societies that respect human rights and international humanitarian law.
