Yeva Borovyk is a Programme Associate at the Ukraine Office of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI), where she supports the implementation of programmes focused on human rights, the rule of law, and Ukraine’s European integration. Her work primarily involves day-to-day programme support, including procurement, logistical coordination, administrative processes, and communication with national and international partners.

Before joining RWI, Yeva worked at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as part of the Secretariat of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership. In this role, she supported the coordination of projects and events, worked with Ukrainian ministries, experts, businesses, and international partners, and contributed to communication, procurement, and reporting processes. Previously, she worked with Freedom House on democracy and human rights programmes in Ukraine, where she gained practical experience in supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening democratic institutions and protecting fundamental rights.

Yeva holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Her academic and professional interests include democratic governance, democratic backsliding, civic participation, authoritarianism, human rights, and Ukraine’s European integration.
