Shabnam Salehi is an RWI Research Fellow, Afghan women’s rights advocate, legal scholar, and former Commissioner of the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission. She is a PhD candidate in Legal Studies at Carleton University. Her work focuses on gender justice, international criminal law, and accountability for human rights violations.
