Mohamad Obeid is RWI’s Representative in Syria. A lawyer, teacher, author and businessman, he returned to Syria in October 2026, after 13 years of living and working in Sweden, to establish a law firm and support his country’s recovery. He holds, inter alia, a LL.B. in Law from Damascus University, a CMS in Management from Oxford Brookes University, and a DSU in Commercial Law from the Sorbonne.
