While manifestations of corruption and measures aimed at combating it are diverse, the present paper focuses on assessing Armenia’s response to corruption through its justice system since 2018. The objective of this research is two-fold: 1) to evaluate to what extent declared priorities and measures undertaken in prosecuting corruption by specialized institutions have delivered positive results, and 2) to what extent a human rights perspective is taken into account, including consistency of corruption-related trials with human rights obligations, especially in forfeiture of illicit assets.
