RWI expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati.
Her Royal Highness was a distinguished advocate for justice, human rights, and the rule of law. Through her leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing the rights of women and children within criminal justice systems, she made lasting contributions both in Thailand and internationally.
Her role in promoting the United Nations Bangkok Rules helped strengthen global efforts to ensure dignity and fairness for women in prison.

At the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, we have fonds memories of Her Royal Highness’s visit to our Institute in 2012, in preparation for the establishement of the Thailand Institute of Justice, which is working in the spirit of Her Royal Highness.
