The Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI), in partnership with the French University in Armenia (UFAR) and the Human Rights Research Center (HRRC), is pleased to announce the 3rd International Conference on “Human Rights Research in Armenia: Current and Emerging Issues”, to be held in Yerevan on November 13–14, 2025.
This conference offers a platform for scholars, students, civil society actors, policymakers, and international development partners to explore pressing human rights challenges in Armenia and to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration through dialogue and research.
We welcome individual paper proposals and full panel submissions related to the following broad themes:
- Human Rights and Conflict Resolution
- Human Rights and the Environment
- Rule of Law, Access to Justice and Corruption
- Access to Education and Human Rights
- Human Rights and Poverty
- Human Rights and Housing
- Human Rights and Digital Technologies and AI
- Business and Human Rights:
Selected participants may be invited to apply for a research fellowship and/or publish their work in the conference proceedings.
