Help us commemorate Raoul Wallenberg Day and moral courage on August 30.
On August 27, Raoul Wallenberg’s legacy, his compassion and moral courage will be commemorated all over Sweden. On August 30, we’ll gather for the same reason because we wanted to commemorate his heroice deeds also in Lund. Join us for this seminar open to all.
First to speak is Ulf Zander, who is a professor of history at Lund University. He’s a Raoul Wallenberg researcher who will speak about Wallenberg’s deeds, what he did and how, and explain how the story is not yet over.
Then, we are also honored to have Marie Cleréus and Pernilla Thellmark with us. These two women who are living in Vellinge municipality in southern Sweden have become extremely engaged in helping refugee children where they live. They are perfect examples of what it means to live in the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg today and we wanted to share their story.
