Nieves Molina is an international lawyer with a background in international law and global security. She has served in several UN missions and at UN headquarters, including assignments in Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as a role as Legal Adviser at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. This extensive experience gives her a broad perspective on international law and its various frameworks.

Currently, she serves as Chief Adviser at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, acting as an expert on international law and technology in conflict situations. Her present work focuses on the transformation of international law, the United Nations and other institutions, the existing rule‑of‑law order, and the role of technology actors
