Selected works from the Lund University / RWI LLM in international human rights law programme IHRL I & IHRLII courses.
This initiative is inspired by more than a decade of engagement with students on the LLM in international human rights law, which is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Law at Lund University, and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
The articles in this volume represent some of the most compelling submissions made by students in partial fulfilment of the course requirements. Topics covered in this volume reflect dominant contemporary human rights challenges: Armed conflict, environmental degradation, violence against women, persons of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, Indigenous Peoples, migrants, and racialised people, amongst others. Issues and the people who are affected by and shape those issues intersect and overlap, as reflected in the articles.
