On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the UN Genocide Convention, RWI Cambodia conducted an international conference with participants from Cambodia, Sweden, Indonesia, Germany, France, India and Australia. The discussions revolved around the role of ASEAN in genocide prevention, the importance of genocide education, and lessons learned from the past (especially the ECCC). As a new topic, the nexus between genocide and ecocide was discussed.
