From 27–29 May 2025, RWI in partnership with Ateneo School of Law (ALS), convened a regional capacity-building workshop in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The workshop brought together university partners from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Philippines, and Vietnam to strengthen their capacity to integrate human rights-based and gender-responsive approaches into academic curricula on climate change and human mobility.
The workshop is part of the RWI Regional Asia Pacific Programme on Human Rights and Sustainable Development (RAPP2), supported by Sida.
Participants engaged in hands-on sessions on the FIRE Framework, peer exchange on regional experiences, and planning exercises to support curriculum innovation and inclusive climate education.
