The Raoul Wallenberg Institute is accepting applications to the annual “Martin Alexandersson Research Scholarship for Human Rights Studies”. Application deadline is May 31, 2018.
The scholarship amounts to SEK 30,000 and is awarded to a researcher who is planning to carry out, or who is carrying out, a study in the field of human rights, preferably in respect of Roma populations or anti-Semitism, and who is well qualified for the task.
Applications are encouraged from around the world concerning the implementation of human rights of Roma and Jews, including strategies for rights implementation and special measures directed towards these groups.
The project is to be completed within a 12 months period from the announcement of the selected candidate.
A complete application should be written in English and contain the following information:
- Applicant’s CV (maximum 5 pages including publications)
- Project description which includes the aim and relevance of the research as well as an indicatory time frame (maximum 2 pages total)
- Budget which indicates costs related to the execution of the project and when applicable, information about other sources of funding available for the project
Applications should be sent with the subject title “MARS18” to our Academic Assistant Sofie Viborg no later than May 31.
The selected candidate will be personally notified by the end of June 2018.
