As part of its current regional Asia programme, the Raoul Wallenberg Institute aims to contribute to enhanced and sustainable capacity of Asian academic institutions to promote and protect human rights in the region. Apart from tailored capacity developing interventions on the regional, sub-regional and national levels, the programme also includes research grants and a regional blended learning course on human rights of women for both National Human Rights Institutions and academia. The academic cooperation includes partnership with the Southeast Asian Human Rights Studies Network (SEAHRN).
