Committee on the Rights of the Child

The Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is the body of 18 independent experts that monitors the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by its State parties.

It also monitors the implementation of two Optional Protocols to the Convention, on the involvement of children in armed conflict (OPAC) and on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (OPSC)

General comments

The Committee makes recommendations (comments) on any issue relating
to children to which it believes the State parties should devote more attention.
