In Indonesia, the Raoul Wallenberg Institute cooperates with the Directorate General of Corrections (DGC) at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights focuses on the fulfilment of the Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners and other relevant international standards in seven correctional institutions in Indonesia, including two juvenile facilities. The aim is to enhance the skills and knowledge of DGC and staff at the seven institutions on how to operate a prison in compliance with human rights standards and professional prison management principles.
