In August 2023, Tanya Rahozina graduated with a Master’s in International Development and Management (LUMID) at Lund University. Her master’s thesis was based on fieldwork that she had conducted in The Gambia on the topic of Osusu, i.e., Gambian rotating credit and savings association. Her prior academic studies include an MSc in Global studies with a major in Political Science as well as a BA in International Relations.
Along with her studies, Tanya pursued her interest in gender equality by conducting internships with a gender equality team at the Istanbul regional hub of UNDP as well as the Swedish section of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF). Joining RWI’s Europe Office in the capacity of an intern, Tanya hopes to gain a nuanced insight into the daily work of human rights professionals as well as contribute to the development of RWI’s programmatic work.
