Ratchada Arpornsilp is currently a PhD Candidate in the Resource, Environment and Development Group at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University.  She was a Thai Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow of 2017-2018 cohort at the International Program, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Cornell University and gained her M.Sc. in Environmental Governance from Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg.

Ratchada has solid regional professional experiences in development sector working with international non-governmental organizations and public agencies across Asia and the Pacific, including The Center for People and Forests, Oxfam Great Britain in Asia, The Asia Foundation, and The National Human Rights Commission of Thailand. With the background in development and environmental politics, Ratchada drives her technical expertise in interdisciplinary policy processes with the focus on natural resource management, environmental sustainability and governance.

She serves as a RWI’s Programme Officer for Human Rights and Environment in the Regional Asia-Pacific Office, based in Bangkok on a part-time basis.
