
Board member
Ramberg studied law at Stockholm University, became a law graduate in 1976 and has worked as a lawyer since 1981.
In addition to the post of secretary general of the Swedish Bar Association since 2000, she holds a number of assignments in Sweden and internationally. She is, among others, a member of the Judiciary Committee, an ad hoc judge of the European Court of Justice, a member of the Swedish Criminal Investigation Authority’s Board of Trustees, a member of the Swedish Social Security Delegation (Forum for the Promotion of the Fundamental Work in the State Administration) and an expert in the “Investigation on a modern and strong criminal justice protection”.
She is a member of the Swedish Board of Nordic Law Meetings, the Association for Legislative Doctrine, the Children’s Law Center at Stockholm University, the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC), the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Bar Association Human Rights Institute (BAHRI) and the IBA Human Rights Trust, Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) and CEELI Institute.
Mrs. Ramberg joined the Board of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute in 2019.
