The current report stems from the development project – “Strengthened governance and follow-up of human rights in six municipalities.” This is a report with the support of RWI and SKR’s initiative for a platform for policy and operational development within human rights crucial for national knowledge development and making promising examples visible. An overarching aim of the process has been to contribute to further knowledge and method development around a rights-based approach in governance, follow-up and practical rights-based work at municipal level. The participating municipalities have participated with the aim of taking a review and/or taking already well-founded work one step further and strengthening its effects.

Detta är en rapport med stöd av RWI och SKR:s initiativ till en plattform för policy- och verksamhetsutveckling inom mänskliga rättigheter avgörande för nationell kunskapsutveckling och synliggörande av lovande exempel.
Ett övergripande syfte med processen har varit att bidra till vidare kunskaps- och metodutveckling kring rättighetsbaserat förhållningssätt i styrning, uppföljning och praktiskt rättighetsbaserat arbete på kommunal nivå. De deltagande kommunerna har deltagit med sikte på att ta ett omtag och/eller ta redan välgrundat arbete ett steg längre och förstärka effekterna av det.
