RWI Country office in Cambodia welcomed Executive Director, Peter Lundberg, to Cambodia for a highly productive visit. During his stay, he met with the Embassy of Sweden Section Office in Phnom Penh, along with the UN Resident Coordinator and the OHCHR representative, to underscore the crucial role of the RWI office in Cambodia. The discussions highlighted the significant thematic areas RWI Cambodia is currently addressing, including Promote Responsible Business Conduct (RBC); Statelessness, Poverty and Human Rights; Promote Fair Trial Rights Via Moot Court and Indigenous Peoples (IPs) Rights.
These efforts are pivotal in planting the seeds for the next generation of Cambodian decision-makers to improve the country’s human rights and gender equality record.
