
Opening hours
The library is open from 14:00 to 18:00. Mondays through Thursdays. Please email library@rwi.lu.se to arrange a visit outside of these times.
The library continues to have 24/7-access for students in the master program International Human Rights Law and affiliates of RWI.
You are welcome to reserve books, available at the RWI-library, in LUBcat. The reserved book will be sent to your ‘home library’ or to a library of your choice.
Please contact the librarian, Victoria Heisler, with questions or to make special arrangements for access.

Entrance is through the courtyard towards Pufendorf Hall. There is a door with an overhang to the left with a sign to the library. During opening hours, the library is accessible through this door. In order for the door to open, you must first push the button to call for the elevator. It will only 'unlock' when the elevator is on the other side.
- If you have brought a laptop, please choose a desk without a computer.
- Books are not supposed to be left on the desks. Someone else might need them. You have to return them yourself on the trolley reserved for that purpose.
- You are allowed to reserve six (6) books for two weeks. Place these books on the reserved shelves with the back visible. Place a note with your full name and the reservation time in one of the books. Please take into account that other persons might have a need for books. Please put them back as soon as possible.
- The desks are reserved for persons that have a direct need for the books and journals available at the RWI Library.
Copying
- The price for copying and printing is the same as at other Lund University Libraries
- In order to print or copy at the library, you need a StiL account.

Victoria Heisler
Victoria Heisler is the Senior Librarian at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. She leads the development and operations of the Institute’s human rights library, advancing access to knowledge that supports research, education, and the promotion of human rights.
Her work focuses on managing the collections and digital resources, as well as providing research support and delivering training in information literacy and human rights for students, researchers, librarians and information professionals. She contributes to capacity-strengthening initiatives and international partnerships that support knowledge infrastructures in the human rights field.
Victoria holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Simmons University, with a concentration in archive management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and English Literature. She has a professional background as a librarian, archivist, educator, and non-profit leader in the United States.
