From 2 to 5 May 2012, the China University of Political Science and Law will be conducting a training workshop for mid-level and senior judges in Zhengzhou Judges’ Training Institute, located in Henan province in China. The purpose of this training workshop is to raise awareness on human rights and the role of national human rights institutions in promoting and protecting human rights. The resource persons involved will be Gudmundur Alfredsson, Brian Burdekin and three local Chinese legal experts.
