In the afternoon of 24 April, just before the events in commemoration of the centenary of Raoul Wallenberg’s birth started, Ms Navi Pillay, Ms Margot Wallström and Judge Almiro Rodrigues visited the Institute for a short interview. Ms Pillay and Ms Wallström, together with Mr Kofi Annan, shared their experiences with invited guests and students in the Main University hall the same afternoon. Judge Rodrigues participated in a panel debate on 25 April, together with Professor Leila Nadya Sadat, Washington University Law School, and Mr Thomas Hammarberg, Former Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe.
Ms Navi Pillay is the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms Margot Wallström is Chair of the Lund University Board, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict and Mr Almiro Rodrigues is a judge at the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
