The Raoul Wallenberg Institute currently, and until the end of 2013, has a fellowship opportunity available regarding human rights education in higher education in relation to its international cooperation programmes in Belarus and Turkey. The aim of the fellowship is to contribute to the implementation of the Institute’s and its cooperation partners’ joint programmes in Belarus and Turkey, and their results, in the areas of human rights education and research.
The fellowship is intended for a scholar who has relatively recently completed a doctoral degree, or has done substantive research to an equivalent standard, in the areas of human rights, law, pedagogy, or related field. A record of research (field and desk) in relevant subject areas and delivery (including design and evaluation) of human rights education in higher education settings is required. Candidates should moreover have a demonstrated commitment to the promotion of human rights being strong team players with ability to also work independently.
